ALL-Star week (for all skill levels)

Refine Skills, Focus On Your Position, Skills Competition and Travel Tournament

During the All-Star week, campers of all ability levels enjoy a unique week of great coaching and spirited competition. Campers can expect an individualized and focused approach to core aspects of their game, including position-specific instruction on technique and game situations. At the end of the week, campers experience the thrill of Major League Baseball's own All-Star tradition at a uniquely designed competition with another Academy location for the Championship Trophy.

 

Due to the unique instructional and game format of the All-Star Experience, visits by Phillies players and coaches and ballpark tour are not offered.

The All-Star Experience includes:

 

 
 • Academy Coaches and Specialists:

Our experienced coaching staff encourages each camper to focus his/her skill development by position using a positive and personalized approach and proven coaching techniques.

 • Game Situations and Decision-Making:

Divisional games are played daily to give campers the opportunity to transform their instruction and practice into real game experience. Game situations enhance campers’ on-field decision-making abilities, and increase their knowledge of individual position responsibilities. Emphasis is on position work, proper execution of fundamentals, and sportsmanship.

 • Daily Instruction by Position:
Campers ages 6-7 receive instruction in all positions. Campers ages 8-14 choose two positions to focus on for skill development and instructional sessions. Each camper receives team instruction in base running, throwing, and batting.
