Take Your Skills to The Next Level

 

The new “Advanced Player” week (ages 8-14) is designed to offer a high level of skill development and game play for advanced level players. Emphasis is placed on team practices and competitive game play. The program offers a commitment to take the young athlete to a higher level of play while increasing their knowledge of the game of baseball.

 

The Advanced Player Experience includes:

• Academy Coaches and Specialists: Professional coaches lead daily team practice sessions covering all aspects of the game using proven coaching methods developed in their own programs as well as coaching the daily games.

 

• Daily Games with Elevated Defensive and Offensive Fundamentals: Divisional games are played daily allowing campers to transform their instruction and practice into high level, real game experience. Our coaching staff focuses on proper execution of advanced fundamentals for players who are at bat, on base and in the field. Sportsmanship is emphasized throughout the week. Games will be regulation youth league games (subject to camp’s daily schedule) with limitations on innings pitched.

 

• Developing Complete Players: At the Phillies Baseball Academy, there is more to baseball than just wins and individual statistics. Our coaching centers on sportsmanship, leadership, teamwork, and building self-confidence at all skill levels. We develop the all-around athlete, on and off the field.

 

• Weekly Highlights: Our weekly schedule also includes Home Run Derbies and Fielding and Throwing Contests. Each week culminates in a Graduation and Awards Ceremony.

 

Due to the unique instructional format of the Advanced Player Experience, there will be no trip to Citizens Bank Park, and visits by Phillies players and coaches are not offered.
